Vladislav Guryev belongs to that type of the artists, who stand by the traditions of European painting, in particular Romanticism painting. And like many Romantics of the past he is attracted by everything exotic, bright and unknown.
He aspires to be a happy man and bring the beauty into the world. This explains the strong positive impulse that imbues his creations.
VLADISLAV GURYEV
Born in 1967 in Odessa.
In 1987 – graduated from the Grekov Art College in Odessa.
Since 1989 – participation in the regional and republican
exhibitions.
Since 1993 – is a member of the National Artists` Union of Ukraine.
In 1997 – took part in the reconstruction project of the passener ferry
“Caledonia” (Ukrainian Ship Company UKRFERRY).
2000-2002 series of paintings for the LE-ROYAL ***** Hotel,
Amman, Jordan.
2002-2004 series of paintings for the “ALL DAY DINING” Restaurant
in the FOUR SEASONS Hotel ******, Amman, Jordan.
He also created about 100 original graphical works for the guest
Rooms and corridors.
